The best mantra I’ve ever come up with for myself is this one:
I don’t have to figure that out right now.
I know.
It’s very simple.
But I use it often. When I’m getting anxious about a particular thing - anything, really - stuff related to money, emails I need to read/write/send, decisions or phonecalls I need to make, things I need to do … whatever!
Often as not it’s true that I don’t have to figure it out right away. (Stuff usually just figures itself out anyway - or that’s the way it is for me. Let it percolate & an answer or decision will come to me later.)
Saying it to myself helps defuse anxiety - for me, anyway!
Helpful quotation to go along with it:
“Do you have the patience to wait ‘til your mud settles and the water is clear?
Can you remain unmoving ‘til the right action arises by itself?” – Lao-tzu
This one too:
“Be careful not to do something permanently stupid because you are temporarily angry, stressed, scared, tired or hungry.” – Karen Salmansohn
You’re welcome!

p.s. 2 other mantras I came up with along the way that also help me out from time to time:
“Cut your losses. Go where the energy is.”
&
“Stay on the path. Don’t look down.”
