Ha! I'm fine with this (doing, saying stupid things) constantly surprise myself with it. See it as good sign to be old and still able for it to happen lol it goes with my mind not stagnating 😁 most people my age are absolutely sure of themselves not being capable of doing/saying anything stupid. You see, it comes with age, as: they're old, therefore they're smart lol. A lovely post Janet, thank you -:))

I like that - a sign of your mind not stagnating! I agree it seems a lot of people seem to have concrete in their brains. Or running through their veins. No room for new ideas - or startling (even life-saving!) revelations. I'm delighted you enjoyed the post!

Wonderful! I agree! I also strive to be more forgiving towards others for their mistakes. It's my way of showing gratitude when people have forgiven me. Life has a way of balancing things out in the end.

You know, I just realized I'm almost grateful when I do something egregiously dumb. 'cos it makes me feel much more compassionate about other people's dumb stuff - or their dumb stuff from my point of view. We're all so caught up inside our own minds! I know I am - far too much.
